About Messner Auction
Messner Auction Co. was founded back in the mid 80’s as a contract auction service that would do the auctioneering for the local area auction houses or assist some of the local auction companies that needed an extra auctioneer.
As time passed and the auction houses went out of business, Gary realized that there was a great need for people to liquidate out personal assets when they were trying to sell their real estate or close out a business.
Gary and his wife Lori went out on their own and started Messner Auction and Land Company. From this they became one of the areas auction companies that perform a wide array of services. They work closely with several of the Black Hills local real estate companies, assisting them in helping their clients downsize or just totally liquidate out. They also work with several of the area law firms in selling out the personal property and real estate from estates.
Gary and his team have put together a total auction package to fit every client’s needs. They offer the ability to just sell off a few items of unwanted personal property to going into an estate and packing, loading, and selling of everything families no longer want. They have a contract cleaning service that prepares the real estate for listing and contractors to assist in repairs or fixes. The ability to offer this full service to clients gives great peace of mind and helps keep you from becoming overwhelmed.
